Guide to using dies in the Zip e mate

To use any die in this machine you are going to put a platform on the bottom, then the die facing up (do not face down then it will cut your platform), next put a piece of paper on the die and finally a cutting mat (some machines need a thin plastic shim on top for certain dies.  If your shape does not cut out when you send it through the machine then put the shim that came with the machine on top and try it again.)

Here are the platform and cutting mats you use for each die

Zip e cuts- use cutting/ embossing platform (#4) and full cutting mat (#5). Use the shim if needed.

Quickutz- use cutting/ embossing platform (#4) and full cutting mat (#5). Use the shim if needed.

Sizzlets and thin cuts- use cutting/ embossing platform (#4) and sizzlets cutting mat (#7)

Sizzix and thick cuts- use sizzix /slimline platform (#3) and full cutting mat (#5)

Slimline- use sizzix /slimline platform (#3) and full cutting mat (#5)

Ellison and Accucut Wooden dies- Standard platform (#2) and full cutting mat (#5)

Embossing-  use cutting/ embossing platform (#4), put embossing foam (#1) on top of the paper and Embossing mat (#6)

The Zip e' mate and the dies are no longer being made.  However, we will continue to sell the cutting mats.  These are not the mats made by Accucut.  They are from a different company. However, they are the same as the accucut products.
